L.A. Times Still Conceals Obama Terror Video
In a piece in April 2008, Wallsten reported that while praising Khalidi, Obama reminisced about conversations over meals prepared by the professor's wife, Mona Khalidi. Unreported by Wallsten was that the event was sponsored by Mona Khalidi's anti-Israel Arab American Action Network, which, as WND first reported, received large sums of money from the Woods Fund, an ultra-liberal Chicago nonprofit for which Obama served as a board member alongside Weather Underground radical William Ayers.  full story
Supreme Court Returns to Firearms Fray
The U.S. Supreme Court announced Wed. it will return to the controversy over individual gun rights by hearing an appeal from a group of firearms owners in Chicago. They are challenging a lower appeals court ruling that said the 2nd Amendment guarantees an individual right to guns only in the face of federal regulation, not against state and municipal restrictions. The new dispute began in Chicago, which has a handgun ban similar to a D.C., ordinance that the Supreme Court struck down in June 2008 as a violation of the 2nd Amendment.  full story
CDC Drafts "Isolation Order" for H1N1
The following draft of an "isolation order" was discovered on the CDC's website. It is a template for state and local officials to impose quarantines and what would effectively be martial law. "Your illness [as determined by state and local officials] requires that you be isolated and requires further public health investigation and monitoring." Failure to obey will result in imprisonment without bail prior to trial and the possiblity of a two year prison term.  full story
Michigan Authorities Attack Woman for Babysitting Neighbor Kids
A woman who was watching her neighbor's kids each school morning for 40 minutes before the bus came is being accused of being a criminal by the State of Michigan. This is what has happened in the people's state of Michigan where a kindly maternal woman is being ground under the iron boot heel of authorities from the State of Michigan because she dared to watch her neighbor's children for about 40 minutes before school each weekday in violation of the state's child daycare center registration laws.  full story
Where Did the H1N1 Late-2009 Flu Season Virus Come from?
If your understanding is the current H1N1 late-2009 season flu pandemic began in Mexico as it spread from herds of pigs to humans there you are probably among the millions who have been misled as to the origins of this flu outbreak. Only one group of virologists that I could find has asked the right questions and has properly investigated the origins of the H1N1 swine flu virus of 2009. Yet even these virologists are off the mark when it comes to understanding the current flu pandemic.  full story
Testimony of Woman Who Experienced Nazi Tyranny
Kitty Werthmann was 12 years old when Hitler took over Austria. She is 83 with a "vivid memory" of what happened in her homeland next. She witnessed the government take over the banks and the auto industry. Sound familiar? In the last nine months, Obama and the Democrats in Congress have successfully orchestrated the government takeover of Chrysler and General Motors along with countless banks. She witnessed the "compulsory youth" service and indoctrination. That sounds a little like Obama's call for "mandatory volunteerism" for America's youth.  full story
Obama Demands Children Spend More
Time in State Indoctrination Centers
"Now, I know longer school days and school years are not wildly popular ideas," the president said earlier this year. "Not with Malia and Sasha, not in my family, and probably not in yours. But the challenges of a new century demand more time in the classroom." It's interesting Obama would use his kids to make a point about children around the country in public schools. Obama's kids attend Sidwell Friends School in Washington, D.C., a private school that charges $29,000 a year in tuition.  full story
Obama Will Bypass Congress to Detain Suspects Indefinitely
Obama has quietly decided to bypass Congress and allow the indefinite detention of terrorist suspects without charges. Rather than seek approval from Congress to hold some 50 Guantanamo detainees indefinitely, the administration has decided that it has the authority to hold the prisoners under broad-ranging legislation passed in the wake of Sept. 11, 2001. Former President George W. Bush frequently invoked this legislation as the justification for controversial legal actions -- including the NSA's warrantless wiretapping program.  full story

U.S. to Push for New Economic World Order at G20

Social Utility: How Much Are Grandpa and Grandma Worth?
Armed with this world view, the self-appointed elite have concluded that since they must engineer the perfect society, they alone must gauge a person's worth in terms of social utility--what does the individual or group have to offer to the New World Order. In this view, social utility is based on one's contribution to the plan. The socialist only deals in terms of society as a whole or to the economy in general. One who works, pays taxes and is not a burden on the state is of higher social utility than is a retired or disabled person...  full story
Stop Saying "Please"!
Imagine a slave who, while being whipped, cries out, "Please, massa, no more!" What message does such a plea for mercy convey? Obviously, it conveys a desire for the beating to stop, but it also conveys another message, albeit an unstated one: "Master, I accept that it is up to you whether I am to be beaten or not." The majority of what the "freedom movement" does essentially consists of the victims of tyranny saying to the tyrants, "Please stop oppressing us!"  full story
Sunstein: Obama, Not Courts, Should Interpret Law

"There is no reason to believe that in the face of statutory ambiguity, the meaning of federal law should be settled by the inclinations and predispositions of federal judges. The outcome should instead depend on the commitments and beliefs of the President and those who operate under him," argued Sunstein.  full story
ACORN: What did Obama know?

These orgs included trade unions, such as SEIU, ACORN, and other groups to which his close friends, associates, and allies belonged--friends such as domestic terrorists Bill Ayers and Bernadine Dohrn, disgraced financier Tony Rezko, and others.  full story
Why Propaganda Trumps Truth
The researchers explain why so many Americans still believe that Saddam Hussein was behind 9/11, years after it has become obvious that Iraq had nothing to do with the event. Americans developed elaborate rationalizations based on Bush admin. propaganda that alleged Iraqi involvement and became deeply attached to their beliefs. Their emotional involvement became wrapped up in their personal identity and sense of morality. They looked for information that supported their beliefs and avoided information that challenged them, regardless of the facts of the matter.  full story

Pelosi's Misleading Statement on the
Constitutionality of Government Health Care
First, it fails to mention a concern expressed by many constitutional scholars, including those on the Left: Substantive due process. "Substantive due process" is the doctrine by which the Supreme Court strikes down laws it deems unacceptably interfere with personal privacy or autonomy. Health care laws that, for example, limit one's ability to fund and control one's own health care could well run afoul of substantive due process rules.  full story

'You Can't Do This to People': Robin McDermott's Resistance
While Royal assaulted and taunted her, Robin endured an even greater violation of her person: Caesar, who had been permitted to run free, vaulted onto the porch and bit Robin several times in the thigh and buttocks, leaving her with severe puncture wounds. She was shuttled to a local hospital and then to jail in a police wagon, the interior of which was drenched in urine; this helps explain why the wounds inflicted by Caesar (and, indirectly, by his criminally negligent handler) would become infected and fester for weeks.  full story
Push for Globalism Continues
When George W. Bush was President, he greatly advanced the prospect of integrating the United States with a North American Union (NAU). Ron Paul Has the Council on Foreign Relations Worried
The power elite is worried. Evidence for this can be found in a short article "The Fed's Political Problem" appearing on the website of Foreign Affairs, flagship journal for the Council on Foreign Relations. Blinder first argues a thesis he proposed back in 1997, that some areas of government are properly political and others are properly technocratic. He places monetary policy in the latter, where it can operate independently of political oversight. The drawback of Ron Paul's bill is that it would transfer Fed oversight to the political realm and end its independence.  full story
