Mexican Police to Patrol NY?
In a series of events which has caused wide notice and a storm of protests, the govt of Mexico, through its consulate in NY in the UN, has announced it will begin patrolling the NYC borough of Staten Island to "safeguard" its nationals there. NYC police had been monitoring the situation and investigating the reported assaults as local crimes. The actions of the Mexican government have caused Mayor Michael Bloomberg and Police Commissioner Raymond Kelly to order what many observers say is the most concentrated police mobilization since the WTC disaster.  full story
Obama Hauls Arizona Before the UN Human Rights Council
Apparently Barack Obama is not content to make a federal case out of his immigration feud with Arizona; he just made it an international one. The president's first-ever report on U.S. human rights to the UN Human Rights Council contains a rich vein of offensive material. So far, one aspect has not been reported: our petty president used the situation to bash Arizona's immigration law — and possibly transfer jurisdiction over the law from Arizona to the UN.  full story
Why Philadelphia's Licensing and Taxing of Blogs is Creeping Fascism
The recent decision by the City of Philadelphia in Pennsylvania to require a Business Privilege License (cost $300) of blogs and that the blogs be taxed on any profits has generated a well deserved outcry from free marketers across the country. Many have invoked Chief Justice John Marshall's famous words, "The power to tax involves the power to destroy." They are right, this will be the end of independent blogging in Philadelphia and around the world when this spreads across countries.  full story
Action Alert: Help Stop the Federal Wolf Killing Plan
The federal Wildlife Services agency (a branch of the U.S. Department of Agriculture) is the primary wolf-killer in the United States -- and now want to expand their wolf-killing operations. They plan to work with Idaho officials to eliminate up to 80 percent of the wolves in north-central Idaho by land and from the air. Their plan also includes killing entire packs -- including gassing helpless wolf pups in their dens -- and surgically sterilizing alpha wolf pairs.  full story
John McCain's Attack On Liberty
John McCain has introduced two bills in the US Senate that are about as Machiavellian as they could be. I am referring to S.3081, a bill that would authorize the federal government to detain American citizens indefinitely without trial, and S.3002, a bill that would authorize the federal government to regulate vitamins, minerals, and virtually all health and natural food products. According to Examiner.com, "John McCain introduced a bill into the U.S. Senate which, if passed, would actually allow U.S. citizens to be arrested and detained indefinitely, all without Miranda rights or ever being charged with a crime."  full story

Patrick Henry: Enemy of the State
The real reason behind scrapping the old constitution, Henry suspected, was really that of garnering more power for those who had already tasted the perks of consolidated government. They hid this behind a façade of "economic prosperity," but Patrick Henry contended that such things were not the business of governments: "You are not to inquire how your trade may be increased, nor how you are to become a great and prosperous people, but how your liberties can be secured; for liberty ought to be the end of your government."  full story
Fox News Shareholder Funded 'Ground Zero Mosque' Imam: Report
The second largest shareholder in News Corp. -- the parent company of Fox News -- has donated hundreds of thousands of dollars to causes linked to the imam planning to build a Muslim community center and mosque near Ground Zero in Manhattan, says a report from Yahoo!News. According to the report from Yahoo!'s John Cook, Saudi Prince Al-Waleed bin Talal, who owns seven percent of News Corp., "has directly funded [Imam Feisal Abdul] Rauf's projects to the tune of more than $300,000."  full story
New York 10th Amendment Rally
It was a beautiful, rain free day on August 7th at the Capitol Steps in Albany where freedom loving New Yorkers gathered in support of the United States Constitution, focusing on the 10th Amendment. John Wallace, retired New York State Trooper and now Oath Keeper, as well as an American Politics Radio Show host, moved the crowd by boldly telling everyone where our rights come from - our Creator! He explained how under both Democratic and Republican administrations the Federal Government has increased its powers beyond its Constitutional limits.  full story
Bombshell: Barack Obama Conclusively Outed as CIA Creation
Far from being the mere "son of a goat herder" (as he deceptively paraded during and even before his candidacy), strong evidence has emerged that President Barack Obama is the product of the intelligence community. Investigative reporter and former NSA employee Wayne Madsen has put together an extensive three-part (and growing) series with conclusive proof and documentation that Barack Obama Sr., Stanley Ann Dunham, Lolo Soetoro and President Barack Obama himself all hold deep ties to the CIA and larger intelligence community. And that's just the beginning.  full story
US Jobless Claims Rise to 500K - Highest Level Since Nov. 2009
The number of U.S. workers making new claims for jobless benefits unexpectedly rose last week to the highest level in nine months, the Labor Department said in its weekly report Thursday -- a distressing sign for an already weak labor market. Initial unemployment claims rose by 12,000 to 500,000 in the week ended Aug. 14. It was the highest level since Nov. 14, when claims stood at 509,000. The rise in claims was particularly troubling because analysts had been expecting an improvement for some time.  full story
The Anatomy of the State
The State is almost universally considered an institution of social service. Some theorists venerate the State as the apotheosis of society; others regard it as an amiable, though often inefficient, organization for achieving social ends; but almost all regard it as a necessary means for achieving the goals of mankind, a means to be ranged against the "private sector" and often winning in this competition of resources.  full story
China Targets U.S. Troops with Arms Buildup
China is aggressively building up military forces capable of striking U.S. forces in the western Pacific and elsewhere as part of what the Pentagon calls an array of high-tech "anti-access" missiles, submarines and warplanes in its latest annual report. The report to Congress on China's military power, released Monday, also warned that China's military is extending its global military reach beyond a weapons buildup to wage regional war with Taiwan and the United States.  full story
Smile! Aerial Images Being Used to Enforce Laws
On New York's Long Island, it's used to prevent drownings. In Greece, it's a tool to help solve a financial crisis. Municipalities update property assessment rolls and other government data with it. Some in law enforcement use it to supplement reconnaissance of crime suspects. High-tech eyes in the sky -- from satellite imagery to sophisticated aerial photography that maps entire communities -- are being employed in creative new ways by government officials, a trend that civil libertarians and others fear are eroding privacy rights.  full story
Government Using Google Earth to Loot Destitute Americans
Aerial imaging technology is being used by the government to spy on Americans in an effort to collect revenue and enforce ordinances on swimming pools without safety certificates, junk cars being stored without permission, unlicensed porches, and a myriad of other petty transgressions that the state is feeding off in complete violation of the Fourth Amendment to suck citizens dry of whatever income they have left after being looted of trillions of dollars in wealth that the state has transferred to foreign banks.  full story

Gerald Celente believes that the stock market will crash before the end of 2010 , gold will soar . Venezuela: The Human Wrongs of Hugo Chavez
Hugo Chavez's regime has come under increasing scrutiny because of blatant violations of basic human rights and an almost total absence of the rule of law, fundamental principles of any democratic society. A comprehensive 300-page March report by the Inter-American Human Rights Commission (IACHR) enraged President Chavez, who dismissed the accusations as a plot to undermine the Bolivarian revolution, termed the report "pure excrement" and accused the commission of being at the "empire's service". The report cited persistent threats and violations of human rights - political participation, freedom of thought and expression, right to life, personal security, and personal integrity and liberty.  full story
Genetically Modified Canola Found Growing Wild in Dakota
A University of Arkansas researcher has found genetically modified canola growing wild in Dakota -- but more than that, she found two different GM varieties had interbred to produce a completely new GM canola. Dr. Cynthia Sagers, an ecologist with the University of Arkansas, presented her findings to the 9th Annual Meeting of the Ecological Society of America on Friday. Sagers said her findings showed there is a lack of "proper monitoring" and control of GM plants in the United States, reported Nature. Sagers said. "The extent of the escape is unprecedented."  full story
Despite Constitution, Nicaragua's Ortega Plans to Stay in Power
The constitution bars Nicaraguan President Daniel Ortega from seeking re-election next year, but that's not stopping the onetime leftist revolutionary. Billboards and murals are going up across NicaraguaOrtega intends to stay at the helm. announcing "Daniel 2011," making it plain that Ortega intends to stay at the helm. Now 64, Ortega still has some of the panache of his guerrilla days three decades ago, when the Sandinista National Liberation Front swept away the Somoza family dictatorship, which had ruled Nicaragua for four decades. Now, however, Ortega is laying the groundwork to rule Nicaragua for a long time himself in apparent defiance of the constitution.  full story
Video: More bullshit from some fascist pigs on the Florida Metrorail

Carbon Cronyism: Why Cap-and-Trade Is Not Dead Yet
The Democrats are determined to get cap-and-trade. It's just a question of when. There's too much money to be made for Democrat cronies to let this opportunity pass. Nancy Pelosi pushed the original 1,200-page cap-and-trade bill though the House of Representatives a year ago. I have written extensively about the innards of the legislation both in my book, Climategate, and in the pages of the American Thinker. Given the mood of the people, it's unlikely that a similar monster of a bill could pass the Senate this session. However a scaled down version with some so-called compromises just might.  full story
Is Fighting for Smaller Government Racist?
When the NAACP allowed itself to be used by the Democratic party to try and smear a grass roots movement for smaller government as racist, the resulting controversy shone a light on more than just racism by individuals associated with the NAACP, but with the organization's inability to delink class warfare from racism. If there is one thing that both the white media elites at Jornolist and the NAACP leadership agreed on, it's that fighting for smaller government is racist.  full story
Treason Anyone?: Obama and All Silent Congressmen Committing Treason
Obama is levying war against the citizens of the states of Arizona and Texas, not only by refusing to help protect them against the illegals' invasion, but also by working overtime to give those marauders amnesty. He aids the enemy while refusing to do his job of protecting us. Put all that together with the fact that the intent of many, if not most, of the illegals is to do a cultural coup on the Southwest and reclaim former Mexican territory, that it's gone way past the cultural alone to holding property at gunpoint, that they are killing law officers, and so there is a complete, undeniable case against him for treason.  full story
Los Zetas Drug Cartel Seizes 2 U.S. Ranches in Texas
In what could be deemed an act of war against the sovereign borders of the United States, Mexican drug cartels have seized control of at least two American ranches inside the U.S. territory near Laredo, Texas. Two sources inside the Laredo Police Department confirmed the incident is unfolding and they would continue to coordinate with U.S. Border Patrol today. "We consider this an act of war," said one police officer on the ground near the scene. There is a news blackout of this incident at this time and the sources inside Laredo PD spoke on the condition of anonymity.  full story
Corporate Media Blogger Says Oakland Freeway Shooter Linked to Tea Party
It looks like the corporate media may soon use Byron Williams to demonize the Tea Party movement. Earlier today the Associated Press reported that the man who confronted police and ended up in a pitched gun battle on Interstate 580 in Oakland, California, had it out for the ACLU and Tides Foundation. "Oakland police Officer Jeff Thomason says Byron Williams was upset with the ACLU and Tides Foundation for their left-leaning political views." On Sunday, it was reported that a Soros-funded group with close links to the Obama admin. has called for the FCC to investigate both talk radio and cable television news.  full story
The Right To Nullify This Government
Every couple of years the same drearily predictable charade repeats itself. This time we're really going to limit government! Or so they tell us. We on the Right then dutifully compose our letters to the editor, attend rallies, and vote for candidates without whom, we are breathlessly assured, we shall all revert instantly to barbarism. And no matter who wins, the federal government grows and grows. The Right gets a bunch of pretty speeches, and the Left gets the victories. The passive approach of crossing our fingers and hoping Washington will follow the Constitution has not worked. The only surprising thing about it is that anyone could have expected it to work in the first place.  full story
NAACP Plays Latest Race Card Against Tea Party
Summertime, and the race cards are easy. The Rev. Jesse Jackson has accused the owner of the Cleveland Cavaliers of racism, for treating multigazillionaire basketball star LeBron James as a "runaway slave." This is the same James who will become his own billion-dollar marketing franchise in South Beach. If only slavery were so sweet. And the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People played a big race card, accusing the libertarian-leaning tea party movement of harboring racists.  full story
Pastor Manning Declares 'I Am Terry Lakin's Brother'
Manning goes on to call Beck a "closet Nazi" who was hired by Fox News to "co-op the alleged racist Americans against Obama to Fox News," and said, "They came by the millions in the late afternoon sitting at home brooding over what was happening to America." Meanwhile, he said CNN hired Jesse Jackson and more recently has hired numerous blacks and gays in its attempt to lure the anti-Americans to its network. Manning says he knows Beck is a closet Nazi, who is "more hypnotizing, with a cult-like and gullible following like Obama's."  full story
BP Gulf Disaster May Have Triggered a 'World-killing Event
Ominous reports are leaking past the BP Gulf salvage operation news blackout that the disaster unfolding in the Gulf of Mexico may be about to reach biblical proportions. 251 million years ago a mammoth undersea methane bubble caused massive explosions, poisoned the atmosphere and destroyed more than 96 percent of all life on Earth. Experts agree that what is known as the Permian extinction event was the greatest mass extinction event in the history of the world.  full story
