A Markerless Grave in Vacaville
"Our illegitimate president has never attended a funeral, nor can families see the pictures of their loved ones as they are hauled like freight with flags on them from an immoral war zone. WE don't see them because Mama Bush doesn't want to "bother her pretty mind" with the images. We had a Casualty Officer who abandoned us when our mortuary refused to pay the cemetery and told us that the 'govt. sent the money to the mortuary, so now it's your problem. New York Telephone Companies
Exploit Prisoners' Families
Single-carrier collect call systems are the norm for telephone service in prisons across the United States. risoners may only call collect, and loved ones who accept the calls must accept the terms dictated by the chosen phone company. At a time when prisoners are increasingly housed in facilities hundreds of miles away from their home communities, telephones become for many the only way to stay in touch; for most, this is an offer that cannot be refused. The New York Campaign for Telephone Justice thinks this isn't just wrong, it's illegal.  full story
