HOW TO GO INTO ONLINE ENVIRONMENTAL ACTION |

There are disturbing things going on all over the planet. Ancient rainforests are being cleared at an astounding rate. Global warming, caused by the burning of fossil fuels is threatening the earth. Many wild animals and plants have been driven to the brink of extinction, due to such factors as habitat destruction and poaching. Many of the coral reefs of the ocean are dead or dying and marine life is in serious trouble. Toxins from industrial and agricultural waste have polluted our air and water. There is something you can do to help stop this destruction! There are a number of environment action sites you can visit. All of these sites will have an action center you can join. Here you will be able to join thousands of others and send protest e-mails to corporate leaders or politicians, for instance. Many of these letters are pre-written, occasionally you are asked to write your own. (Usually there is a choice!) They do make a difference!
