Philadelphia Libertarians and Socialists Protest the FBI's Raids on Antiwar Activists
In the face of the government's attempts to silence antiwar activism, libertarians and socialists came together to protest. The object of their outrage was the series of raids conducted by the FBI on antiwar activists in Minnesota, Chicago, Michigan, and North Carolina; and the issuance of subpoenas to appear before a grand jury to many of the same. The peace activists insist that it is a fishing expedition intended to harass.  full story
United States of America vs George Donnelly: How US Marshals Framed a Peaceful Photographer
The US government frames a peaceful photographer. Photography is not a crime. This video shows the brutality of US marshals in Allentown, PA, the ability of state agents to frame peaceful people, and how the libertarian community can overcome the tyranny of a powerful central state.  full story
Principled Nonvoting: The Beginning of Disengaging from the State
Labor day has come and gone, and there is an election this November. The campaign season is on. The airwaves, the internet, and what's left of the print media are saturated with political ads. All of this leads many Americans to wonder who they're going to vote for. Quite a few realize that the choice is essentially limited to the Democratic scoundrel or the Republican scoundrel. Regardless, to too many people voting is seen as a patriotic, almost sacred duty.  full story
Unity at a Peace Rally
On this sad anniversary of the horrible terrorist attacks I had the pleasure of joining the weekly peace vigil held by United for Peace & Justice. My libertarian message was well received. The key was explaining that at its core libertarianism is about abolishing the use of all force from human relationships. Every conclusion and policy prescription derives from that principle. This resonated nicely with everyone that I spoke to at the rally. The other participants were quite open minded and asked many good questions.  full story
The New Terrorist Threat To America: Drunk British Teenagers Brandishing Insults
America faces a new threat possibly so severe that it has prompted President Obama and the FBI to take affirmative preventative action. No, it does not come in the form of radical religious extremist terrorists or international criminal enterprises, but rather it consists of drunken seventeen year old boys sending naughty emails to the White House. As reported by Sky News, British teenager Luke Angel has been banned from the US for life after he sent an email insulting the President by calling him a nasty name.  full story
The Constitution, The Articles of Confederation and Southern Independence
The omniscient, omnipresent, omnipotent government that the Constitution created is the antithesis of limited government. I think Southern Nationalists should focus on what would have happened to the South if the states had retained their sovereignty under the Articles of Confederation. The slavocracy would have never been able to maintain the allegience of the 85% of white Southerners who didn't own slaves, so slavery would have been phased out from pressure from within the South, but instead, the North-South government that the Constitution created, caused poor white Southerners to rally behind the slavocracy, because of an outside threat (the North) to their way of life.  full story
Spy Satellites Used to Harass Americans, Not Fight Terror
When it was announced several years ago that spy satellites would be used domestically, the excuse was that they were a necessary tool to fight the "war on terror" and illegal immigration. However, now that the use of such technology is becoming commonplace, it is in fact being deployed mainly to harass citizens who haven't followed local ordinances on swimming pools or paid local back taxes. Aerial imaging technology is being used by the government to spy on Americans in an effort to collect revenue and enforce ordinances on swimming pools without safety certificates and junk cars being stored without permission[...]  full story
US Soldiers 'Killed Afghan Civilians for Sport and Collected Fingers as Trophies'
Twelve American soldiers face charges over a secret "kill team" that allegedly blew up and shot Afghan civilians at random and collected their fingers as trophies. In one of the most serious accusations of war crimes to emerge from the Afghan conflict, the killings are alleged to have been carried out by members of a Stryker infantry brigade based in Kandahar province in southern Afghanistan.  full story
UN Blueprint: Dismantle Middle Class, Build World Government
A UN blueprint for putting the org back at the forefront of global governance alarmingly reveals the agenda to re-brand global warming as "overpopulation" as a means of dismantling the middle classes while using "global redistribution of wealth" and increased immigration to reinvigorate the pursuit of a one world government. Secretary General Ban ki-Moon and 60 of his top lieutenants met this past Labor Day at a secluded Austrian Alpine retreat in a bid to get the global warming agenda back on track after the dismal failure of Copenhagen.  full story
Judging The George Donnelly Case
George, while filming the outreach event, was originally arrested and charged with felony assault on a female Court Security Officer which, according to witnesses, he didn't do. This charge carries an 8 year sentence. The conditions of his release after two days in federal custody included house arrest, wearing an ankle bracelet, turning in his passport, and his firearms. By the time of his initial appearance hearing on June 22, 2010 the charges had been reduced to misdemeanor simple assault and two Code of Federal Regulations violations.  full story
Interview: UN Telecoms Chief Urges Data Sharing
The chief of the U.N.'s telecommunications agency urged the Canadian manufacturer of the BlackBerry to allow law enforcement agencies access to customer data, saying that governments all over the world had legitimate security concerns which should not be ignored. The International Telecommunication Union agency's Secretary-General Hamadoun Toure said that all governments engaged in the fight against terrorism had the right to demand access to users' information from the maker of the BlackBerry Research in Motion Ltd.  full story
FDA Says Fast-growing GM Salmon 'Safe to be Farmed and Eaten'
Genetically modified salmon which grow at twice the speed of their natural counterparts are safe to be farmed and eaten, US regulators have ruled. The decision by scientists from the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) paves the way for the first GM animal to be sold as food. The fish, called AquAdvantage salmon, could be on American plates within two to three years, raising fears among environmental and food-safety campaigners.  full story
The Facial Recognition Software That Will Put a Name to Every Photo on the Internet
A software company is developing revolutionary software which provides the ability to identify people from photographs posted on the internet. Face.com has produced technology that can identify individuals on social networking sites and online galleries by comparing their image against a known picture of them. It means detailed profiles of individuals can be built up purely from online photographs and critics have said it could lead to exploitation by employers.  full story
Codex Alimentarius: Control The Food, Control The People
Codex has been around for a long time. It is very important to understand and most Americans have no idea what it is about. Most Americans do not know about bill S510. Codex is a UN agency that wants to control the food of the world. It operates with the goal to destroy the vast majority of the world's population. They want to rid the world of, "Useless Eaters". Eighty percent of the food consumed by Americans is now genetically modified food. This is the food codex loves. They are eugenicists, not agriculturists. S510 and its Codex Alimentarius component must be stopped.  full story
Department of Justice Lists Survivalists, Constitutionalists in Extremism Guide
A recent DoJ guide for investigators of criminal and extremist groups lists "constitutionalists" and "survivalists" alongside organizations like Al-Qaeda and the Aryan Brotherhood. The 120-page, "Law Enforcement Sensitive" guide to "Investigating Terrorism and Criminal Extremism - Terms and Concepts" describes itself as "a glossary designed primarily as a tool for criminal justice professionals to enhance their understanding of words relating to extremist terminology, phrases, activities, symbols, organizations, and selected names that they may encounter while conducting criminal investigations or prosecutions of members of extremist organizations."  full story
